no service after iphone update ios 17.4.1

1. Check the Cellular Coverage

When we go to the rural areas or some village areas, we mostly can’t get proper coverage because those places are situated so far from cell towers. Most cellular data providers provide their coverage maps, and you can check the coverage using those maps. Some areas don’t have 5G coverage and even some areas lack 4G coverage. In that case, change the network type as you want. You can do that, by going to the Settings and navigating to the Cellular then Cellular Data Options. Here, you can see Voice & Data and select the LTE. This gives a 4G network and also you can use Wi-Fi if you have a good Wi-Fi connection.

2. Restart the iPhone

This may help you to solve this issue. Restart methods change depending on the iPhone type.

For the iPhone X and later models – press the side button and volume up or down button together and hold it until you see the power off slider. Then slide it and wait some time. After that, press and hold the side button and turn it on.

iPhone 8 and earlier – press and hold the side button until the power slider appears and power off. Wait some time and press and hold the power button then the device turns on.

3. Insert the SIM Card Again

Modern iPhones have eSIM instead of physical SIM cards. If your iPhone is like that, you can skip this. Sometimes your SIM card doesn’t properly install, and this may be the case for the issue. Maybe you inserted the SIM card not properly or it shook out of place. In that case, reinsert the SIM card and restart the iPhone.

4. Enable Data Roaming

Maybe your iPhone isn’t connected to a network when you go outside from the home. This may be the cause of this issue. in order to solve this you have to open the data roaming. To do that, go to the Settings and then Cellular. In here go to the Cellular data options and then toggle on Data Roaming. You can on the automatic network selection to avoid connecting to the wrong networks. In the same Cellular Data Options, select Network Selection. Here on the Toggle in Automatic.

5 Cellular Data Off and On Again

Sometimes there are small issues behind big problems. To do this, go to the Settings and then Cellular. The toggle off Cellular data and after some time on it again.

6. Check the Date and Time

In some cases, the wrong date and time can get us stuck in this no-signal issue. To ensure the time on your phone, the date and time go to Settings then General, and go to Date and Time. Here, you can set the time automatically. To do that, toggle on Set Automatically and select the Time Zone.

Navigate to the Transfer or Reset iPhone and go to Reset. Then, Reset Network Settings. This requires your passcode. Enter it and rest network settings.

8. Update iOS Version

When there is a bug, Apple tries to fix it with new updates. So, if you face this issue with the update, wait until the next update is available and download it. Open the Settings and go to General and Software Update. In here if any update is available, download and install it.

9. Update Carrier Settings

This can happen because of wrong carrier settings or issues with the carrier updates. You can check if there is any update available for the carrier settings. To do this, open the Settings and go to the About inside the General. If there is any update, tap on the Update. After that, reboot your iPhone.
