Are you bothered by frequent iOS update notifications on your iDevice? If so, now you have a chance to save yourself from that trouble. You can use 3uTools for that. To stop the update notification received on the iDevice, the description file has to be successfully installed on your device. After that, you will no longer receive iOS updates or download firmware for your Apple iDevices. So we are going to talk about how to stop iOS App Updating Notifications using 3uTools.
- First, you need to download the latest version of 3uTools from our website to your computer.
- After that install it properly on your computer.
- Now connect your Apple iDevice to the computer through the USB cable.
- After that access the Toolbox through the software.
- Now click on “Stop iOS Update”.
- Now click on “Send Description File to iDevice” and start the process.
- Here the important thing you need to remember is that you need to keep the iDevice unlocked.
- This file needs to be installed on the iDevice. For that click on “Install” and enter the power-on password. After that, follow the necessary steps to complete the process correctly as shown below.
If you do not see the following page as we have shown, after successful installation, go to Settings -> General -> Profile -> tvOS 12 Beta Software Profile.
After restarting your device, the “Feedback” icon will be displayed on the device. (Note that this only happens on devices other than jailbroken devices below iDevice 9.x)
So you cannot delete this icon. You have to keep it hidden somewhere on your device if you want.
After installing the description file correctly, the iDevice system will no longer receive iOS updates. Also, no firmware will be installed.
In this way, if the description file is correctly and successfully installed on your device, if it still shows the update notifications, then you have to find the corresponding package and delete it.
For that, you can follow the steps of Settings -> General -> Storage & iCloud Usage -> Manage Storage.
Also, you have to delete the “tvOS 12 Beta software profile”. This path can be used for that.
Settings -> General -> Profile.
Then reboot your iDevice and install the description file by following the steps again mentioned earlier.
