Apple is going to announce their new Apple Watch to the users on September 09th at its “It’s Glowtime” event. This will be launched with the iPhone 16. There are some rumors about this new watch series, and as the reports show, changes are less expected. Here, we are going to talk about all the rumors about this new Apple Watch.
The new Apple Watch is called the Apple Watch Ultra 3. We got the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the last year. With that, they introduced some changes. Double tap gesture, a faster S9 chip, and 50% brighter displays are the main features among them. Also, you get on-device Siri and increased storage for work. But as the rumours the new version doesn’t have that many new features.
Design
The design will remain the same as the original one. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that this new Apple Watch Ultra 3 will have the original design. But later he said that we can see a new design of Apple Watch X as the Apple Watch Ultra. But this will be a model other than the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
This year Apple watches come in two different sizes. They are 45mm and 49mm. As the information the new Apple Watch Ultra 3 will come in 49mm size. So, users can use 49mm watch bands with this. Also, as they said now users can use the 45mm watch bands for the new Ultra 3 and this will make a competition between Series 10 ones and Ultra.
Display
For years Apple worked on new microLED displays. But there are no clues to say that they will make watches with this technology. This microLED display can increase brightness, contrast, and battery efficiency. Also, there are some rumors that Apple is going to introduce the new low-energy OLED panel technology to their users. this will be for future watch series but not for the new Ultra 3.
Hardware
As per the information, the new Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be the same as the Ultra 2. There will be blood pressure and sleep apnea detection and they will be based on machine learning and work with the existing sensors. The Ultra 3 will have a new processor according to Mark Gurman.
New Features
As mentioned before this will have new health features. They are blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection. The blood pressure monitor will not give the exact values. But it will alert you when the blood pressure is high and give bits of advice on what you have to do at that time. Sleep apnea can go through the sleep patterns and the breathing patterns to tell if someone has sleep apnea. Then it will suggest contacting a doctor.
Some issues with these features are with the hardware features. But Apple will work on it and provide us with a good solution.
Colors
When the Apple Watch Ultra was released most people said that there would be a model with black colour. But it came only in the original titanium color and it is the same as the first one. As per the reports, the new Ultra 3 might have a black color.
WatchOS 11
For sure we can say this will run watchOS 11. This is the latest version of the Apple Watch operating system. apple talked about this in the WWDC event. With this, users get some new features like smart stack widgets, a translate app, and a vitals app for key health metrics view. And the Tap to Cash new Apple Play feature, additional workout types, and more upgrades and improvements.
