The new Apple Watches have finally been launched. With this, users can get new features that have never been seen in previous watches. Even though most of the features are similar among these three watches, there are some differences, too.
Watch SE 3

This is Apple’s basic watch type, and finally, this year it got upgraded after many years. Among these upgrades, users got the new S10 chip. This is good for the Double Tap gesture. Also, there are some hardware upgrades. 5G cellular and fast charging feature. New health features with an always-on display. The same sleep apnea introduced with the watch series 10 is also here, along with a new feature called Sleep Score. It appeared before on wearables made by Fitbit. Starlight and Moonlight are the available colors of this watch.
Watch Series 11

Users got hypertension notifications with this expensive watch. It has sensors to monitor blood pressure, and after monitoring it for a month, it will notify the user if there is anything concerning. This hypertension can cause strokes, heart attacks, or even death. Among the population in the world, out of 3 adults, two of them suffer from it. The company wants to clear the FDA as soon as possible for this feature.
With the Series 11, they address their long-term problem, battery life. Even the previous Apple Watch 10 can’t make a good impression on that side. Now this watch has 24 hours of battery life, and it is a plus point for the users since they can wear it all day, including sleep time, and get an accurate sleep score.
It also has 5G, WatchOS 26 for workouts, and live translations for all your messages. It is thinner than the Watch Series 10 and has the latest S10 chip. This is available in four colors for the aluminium version and three variations for the titanium version. They are Rose Gold, Silver, Space Grey, and Jet Black are the aluminium variations, and Natural, Gold, and Slate are for titanium.
Watch Ultra 3

There is a good improvement in the new Watch Ultra 3. Now it has 42 hours of battery life, and it becomes 72 hours if the watch is in low-power mode. Has the biggest screen among all the Apple watches, using the wide-angle OLED display. It also has an always-on display like other watches. Uses satellite messaging along with crash or fall detection. It sends the location to emergency services when necessary. With all these features, it is a perfect choice to wear when you do outdoor activities, like camping or cycling.
Like the Watch Series 3, this also has hypertension detection and WatchOS 26 workout updates with sleep scores. This has more sports-related features than other watches. The natural titanium and black titanium are the options for the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
Designs
Apple Watch SE 3 has a curved display, and Apple Watch Series 11 has anodised or polished aluminium and polished titanium casing options. It has a flat display. Apple Watch SE 3 now uses a built-in display for playing videos.
Sizes and Weights
The size and weight of these watches change according to the model. Apple Watch SE 3 is 44mm in height, and Apple Watch Series 11 is 46 mm in height. Apple Watch Ultra 3 is 49mm in height and has a 44mm width. The Apple Watch SE 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 have widths of 38mm and 39mm, respectively. The depths of these watches are 10.7mm, 9.7mm, and 12mm in order.
When it comes to weight, the Apple Watch SE 3 has different weights based on features. The one with GPS and the 40mm one is 32.9g in weight. The 33.0g weight one comes with GPS, Cellular, and a 44mm height. Apple Watch Series 11 has six varieties when it comes to weight. They are 37.8g, 36.9g, 43.1g, 30.3g, 29.7g, and 34.6g. They differ based on their features and the metals. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 only has two models based on weight. One with natural titanium weighs 61.6g, and the one with black titanium weighs 61.8g.
Displays
Apple Watch SE 3 brightness comes between 2 nits and 1000 nits. 2 nits is the minimum, and 1000 nits is the maximum. Display is OLED with LTPO.
Apple Watch Series 11 has brightness between 2000 nits and 1 nit. 1 nit is the minimum, and 2000 nits is the maximum. LTPO3 with a wide-angle OLED display. LTPO3 helps to fasten the refresh rate.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 has the maximum difference in brightness. The maximum one is 3000 nits, and the lowest is 1 nit. It also has LTPO3 with wide-angle OLED.
Charging and Battery
Apple Watch SE 3 has 18 hours of battery life, and it increases up to 32 hours when using low power mode. It charged up to 80% within 45 minutes. For 8 8-hour battery life, it only requires 15 minutes of charging.
Apple Watch Series 11 has up to 24-hour battery life, and in low power mode, it increases up to 38 hours. Charge up to 80% within 30 minutes. Within 15 minutes, it can give 8 hours of battery life to the user.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 has 42 hours of battery life, which is increased up to 72 hours when in low power mode. It charged up to 80% in 45 minutes. Within 15 minutes, it charges up to 12 hours.
Prices
- Apple Watch SE 3: Starts from $249. It is the 40mm watch. The 44mm size one costs $279, and with the GPS and cellular combination, it costs $299 and $329, respectively.
- Apple Watch Series 11: The 42mm size one is $399, and it is the base price. The 46mm size one is $429, and with GPS and Cellular combination, those cost $499 and $529, respectively.
- Apple Watch Ultra: With the GPU and Cellular features, it costs $779.
The new titanium watch series 11 costs $699, and it is the 42mm size one. The 46mm size costs $749.
Release Date
Apple announced this new watch series on 9th September. People can buy it from 19th September 2025 onwards. Pre-orders can be placed from 9th September onwards.
