1. Indoor map navigation

- Say Hey Siri to turn on Siri.
- After Siri answers, say Take me to (the name of the place you want the direction for).
- Siri will show you the direction with the modes of transportation where you can select what mode you are using. If you don’t select, Siri will automatically choose to depend on the speed and how near you are to the destination.
- After selecting the mode of transport manually or automatically, you can tap on Go to instantly start the navigation. If you do not tap on Go within five seconds, Siri automatically will start navigating.
4. Contact information
Just like you can get information about places by accessing Wikipedia from Maps, you can also get the contact information of organizations.
After selecting the place you want to visit, you can get their contact information, which can also be saved into your contacts.
5. Marking a location
If you are willing to travel to a place or want an estimation of the travel time, you can simply mark or pin it down on the map. The map will show you exactly how much time will be spent traveling in a vehicle or by foot.
6. Find your car
Sometimes when we are in an unfamiliar place and trying to locate where we parked our car, can be frustrating. But with Apple Maps, you can save the place where you parked your car on a map. After spending time shopping or outing with friends or family, you can return to your car park just by following the navigation. But to get this feature, you have to connect your phone to your car, through CarPlay or Bluetooth. Follow the steps below to activate the feature;
- Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Significant Location > ON. By following these steps you can activate the Find Your Car feature on your Maps.
- Settings > Maps > Show Parked Location > ON. Now you can save the car’s parking location on your Maps.
- Connect your Car’s Bluetooth or CarPlay to your Apple device through Bluetooth.
- To find the location of the parked car – Maps > Search > Parked Car.
