Design
Overall this looked like the original Roam. You can carry this in hand or in your backpack. The weight is 0.95 lbs and you can carry it like a water bottle. There are a few waves and you can choose what you want. The new Roam 2’s end caps and the top and bottom parts are rubberized and it helps you to stand it vertically without flipping. You can also place it horizontally. Also, it has four pegs to place it.
In this version, you can see the Sonos logo on the front comes in the same color as the rest of the speaker’s colors. On the top, it has physical buttons. They are for the on and off, volume down, play, pause, and volume up. It has an IP67 resistance rating. With that, you can use this speaker in any environment and it doesn’t cause any trouble.
This version also has two buttons on the back. Previously with the 1st one we only got one button and it was placed on the front side.
