macOS 14 Sonoma: Everything You Need To Know

The macOS new version is called after the Califonia wine region, the name is Sonoma. This introduced many new features to the Macs; the best part is the changes in the widget. Also, now users can simply change any web page to the web app.

macOS 14 first version was released on Tuesday, September 26. It is version 14.0. the new version is macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. this has been available to users since March 25, and it has solutions for a lot of bugs.

Even though they released a new version of macOS Sonoma. Apple continuously develops new versions for Sonoma based on user requirements. The first version of macOS 14.5 was released on April 2 and it will be available for users in late April or early May.

How to Install macOS 14 Sonoma

  1.     First, go to the system settings.
  2.     Then click on the General icon. Here click on Software Update, and your Mac will display all the updates.
  3.     After that click on the Upgrade Now, then your macOS installation process will start. When the process is done. click on the install and the software starts to install.

How to Install and Remove the Beta Version

When the full version is arrived, getting all new updates for the beta version will be annoying. In that case, users can turn off the beta updates. For that, users have to go to the Software Updates and click on the (i) beside the Beta updates. Here you can turn them off, and it will stop the notification receiving.

Also, if you want to be a part of the beta version, you can simply download it. You have to register using your Apple ID for the beta program to install beta versions. After doing that you can see a new tab for Beta updates in your Software Updates. Here you can see all beta versions that are available for you. So if you want to download or install any of these, you can do so.
